" El Ariño Salas Bajas " was planted between 1988 and 1989. It has an altitude of 500 meters above sea level and northeast-southeast orientation. The soils are sandy loam with a perfect texture to allow a high permeability, which implies a good aeration and root penetration.
Vintage Merlot was conducted during the last week of August. Once the grapes were in Bodega, after stemming and crushing were refrigerated before being hatched to facilitate pre-must fermentation maceration.
The fermentation took place for 12 days at a maximum temperature of 26 ° C, after which the container left the vats and pressed. The wine was racked twice before passing cask, aged 10 months. He then returned to tank where it was clarified and filtered before bottling.
